Xena Health opened in Henderson, Nevada as a direct response to what Cherie Little saw in her years of clinical practice: women in their 40s and 50s cycling through providers, receiving partial diagnoses, and leaving appointments without answers to the questions they most needed answered.
The clinic was built around a single organizing principle: menopause and perimenopause are the center of everything we do — not a subspecialty, not a side service. Every service radiates outward from that focus.
Provide highly skilled, evidence-based treatment for women seeking menopause care and women's health services in the Las Vegas and Henderson Valley.
That every woman we cross paths with feels empowered to live her healthiest, best life in an environment of compassion, acceptance, and encouragement.
To be your #1 menopause specialist in Las Vegas & Henderson.
Every provider at Xena Health was chosen for both clinical credentials and the way they listen. Cherie set the standard. Each provider holds it.
Cherie is a doctorally prepared, dual-certified Family and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. As a retired Air Force veteran, Cherie has experience in primary care, women's health, military medicine, labor and delivery, postpartum, medical-surgical/inpatient medicine, and aeromedical staging. She is compassionate and uses a holistic approach to treat each patient individually, and has earned a 5-star reputation as a quality provider.
During her experience as a Primary Care Provider, she met many patients seeking menopause treatment and specialist referrals for hormone concerns. Realizing a clear need for providers offering such services, Cherie became a credentialed Menopause Society Certified Provider (MSCP), and in 2023 Xena Health was created to meet the needs of women in the Las Vegas Valley seeking menopause treatment. Unique to Xena Health is Cherie's ability to provide holistic care from a primary care and women's health background with a menopause and hormone focus.
Cherie is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and board-certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). She is also board-certified as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner through The Menopause Society. She maintains memberships with the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and The Menopause Society.
Before founding Xena Health, Cherie spent years in clinical practice observing the same pattern repeatedly: women in their 40s and 50s cycling through appointments, receiving partial diagnoses, and leaving without the hormonal evaluation their symptoms clearly warranted. She built this clinic to be the answer to that pattern.
Janelle Meza is a master's-prepared, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of diverse healthcare experience. She believes that the best healthcare combines evidence-based medicine with a holistic, practical approach that addresses the root causes of illness while empowering patients to achieve long-term wellness. Janelle couples her passion for hormone therapy with a strong background in peptide therapies to partner with each patient on personalized treatment plans that support disease prevention, longevity, and optimal quality of life. Her clinical interests include IV nutrient therapy, ozone therapy, high-dose intravenous vitamin C (IVC), peptide therapy, and preventive medicine. She has also completed specialized training in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and is passionate about optimizing hormonal health for both women and men.
Janelle is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Western University of Health Sciences. She is also certified in nutrition and trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), reflecting her commitment to addressing both physical and mental well-being. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has a strong foundation in primary care with advanced training in functional and integrative medicine.
Early in her career, Janelle participated in the Guam Non-Communicable Disease Consortium, contributing to public health initiatives focused on preventing chronic diseases throughout the Pacific region before relocating to Las Vegas. Her extensive nursing background includes bedside acute care, urgent care, travel nursing, vaccine program leadership, hospice case management, and home health. After moving to Las Vegas from California, she served as a Charge Nurse in Medical-Surgical, Intermediate Care (IMC), and Intensive Care (ICU) units, while also participating in Rapid Response Team interventions for critically ill patients.
Each certification and training program below was pursued with intention — to ensure Xena Health patients receive care informed by the most current, specialized knowledge in every area of midlife women's health.
The gold standard credential in menopause medicine. Earned by passing a rigorous competency examination covering the full clinical scope of perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause — including HRT treatment plans, cardiovascular risk, bone health, cognitive effects, and genitourinary health.
Advanced certification in women's hormone therapy from Dr. Heather Hirsch — one of the most respected voices in evidence-based menopause medicine. This training goes beyond the MSCP to cover the nuances of hormone therapy formulation, individualized dosing strategies, and complex patient scenarios.
Training through ISSWSH — the leading international organization dedicated exclusively to women's sexual health. Sexual dysfunction, pain, desire changes, and arousal disorders in midlife are among the most underaddressed clinical issues women face.
Peptide therapy is one of the most rapidly evolving areas in longevity and regenerative medicine. A4M training covers the clinical application of peptide treatment plans — including growth hormone secretagogues, metabolic peptides, and recovery compounds — with a rigorous evidence-based framework.
Xena Health is based in Henderson, Nevada — but quality menopause care shouldn't be limited by geography. We extend the same clinical standard via telehealth to patients across Nevada, Arizona, and Utah.
Telehealth at Xena Health is not a lesser version of in-person care. Lab orders, treatment plan management, follow-up visits, and ongoing optimization are all available remotely. Most patients outside Henderson never feel the difference.
In-person appointments available Monday through Friday. Same-week availability for new patients in most cases. Call 702-840-3327 or book online.
